Privacy
This is a personal site. It sells nothing and has no accounts. Last updated 18 October 2026.
What this site collects
Two things measure traffic here, and that is all.
- Google Analytics. A third-party measurement service from Google that records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world a visit came from, and which site or search referred it. It sets cookies in your browser and Google processes your IP address as part of providing it. Google's own description of how it handles this data is at policies.google.com/privacy.
-
A first-party counter. A small script on this site records the page path, the referring
site's address (its name only, never the full link you came from), any campaign tags on the link you followed,
your country, and whether this is the first page of your visit. It sets no cookie and creates no identifier.
It does keep one flag in your browser's session storage to tell a first page from a later one; it holds no
information about you and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
Those counts are sent to and stored by wattardigital.com, which is Mira's own company site, so that both of her sites can be read in one place. Same person, same records, no third party involved. Neither your IP address nor your browser user agent is stored by this counter, though the hosting provider that serves this page keeps its own server logs, as every web host does. Counts are kept for about 13 months and are used only to see which pages are read.
What is never collected
No account, no profile, no advertising, no fingerprinting, and no tracking of you across other people's sites. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone to use for their own purposes. If you send an application through this site, what you type in that form is used to reply to you and nothing else.
How to switch measurement off
- Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. The first-party counter checks both and sends nothing at all when either is on.
- Block cookies for this site, or install Google's opt-out add-on, to stop Google Analytics.
- Any tracker blocker or privacy-focused browser stops both.
Your choices
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it deleted, or to object to it being collected. The first-party counter stores nothing that can identify you, so there is normally nothing to retrieve. For anything held by Google Analytics, or for any other request, email mira@wattardigital.com and it will be handled.
